- Stand barefoot on a sheet of paper and make a mark at your longest toe.
- Then, measure the length of your foot in centimeters on the sheet of paper: from the back of your heel to the tip of your big toe.
- Repeat this for both feet and use the longest length to determine your Blundstone size in the table.
For people with a wider foot, we recommend choosing half an English (UK) size larger.
Blundstone half sizes: When you buy a half UK size, the insole is exactly the same length as the whole size below it. So what is the difference? Our half sizes offer a little more room over the instep, ideal for wider feet.
Try on your boots upon receipt with the socks or stockings you would normally wear with them. Stand upright and preferably try them on a carpeted floor so that the soles remain protected.
Checklist:
- Your toes should be able to move freely and should not touch anything.
- Remove the insoles from the shoes and stand on them with both feet. You should have about 0.5 cm of space left in the length.
- Your instep should touch the top of the leather while walking.
- If the length is correct but the boots feel too wide/big, add an extra insole.
- While walking, your heel may lift slightly from the sole, but your foot should not slip out of the shoe.

By treating the leather shoes with the wax, you keep dirt at bay. The polish soaks into the pores of the leather and results in the leather remaining supple. If you have a favourite pair of Blundstone or other leather shoes and want them to last, treat the shoes well. Maintenance is also very important for work shoes. Blundstone's shoe polish is great for treating your leather shoes, leather work shoes whether they are women's or men's shoes. Using shoe polish also protects the shoes from stains and from rain.

However, you will have to maintain the shoes yourself to keep the leather supple. It is important to keep the leather supple. If you do not treat the shoes, the leather may crack. So keep an eye on the status of your leather shoes yourself and treat them with shoe polish when you see that they need nourishment.

After you have rinsed the men's or women's shoes, treat them with shoe polish. This will keep the leather supple and absorb nutrition through the treatment of shoe polish.
